About the role

  • Manages the regulatory process for assigned regulatory cases and identifies compliance requirements arising from regulatory directives
  • Develops case materials, including performing policy and quantitative analysis to support PG&E’s desired outcomes
  • Identifies and gathers the internal case team, develops the schedule, milestones and deliverables, manages issues, and leads development of key case materials
  • Develops the case strategy, cost recovery, tariff changes and other proposals for their assigned regulatory cases
  • Acts as a liaison with the regulatory body and interested stakeholders, gathering input, identifying common areas of agreement, and providing relevant information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, legal studies, engineering, finance, policy, or related field
  • 7 years of experience in project management, regulatory case management, or relevant experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of PG&E and utility industry’s (gas/electric) operations, pricing, accounting, and customer service issues
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints
  • Knowledge and understanding of case management processes, procedures, and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to review and evaluate complex analysis and recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to address issues, educate, influence, and present complex information with ease and clarity
  • Proficiency and skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, CoPilot)
