About the role
- Monitors and analyzes Electric Distribution, Transmission and Substation GIS portfolio performance
- Fosters transformational opportunities in partnership with business partners
- Establishes and manages service-level agreements with business partners
- Develops, prioritizes, and communicates strategic goals, processes, and project roadmaps
- Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, enterprise standards, and governance processes
- Builds high-performing teams by providing resources, training, and skill development
- Leads the evaluation, selection, and execution of system investments
- Oversees successful implementation of Electric Distribution, Transmission and Substation systems
- Provides operational support, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement for GIS applications
- Reviews and recommends sourcing strategies
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Geography, Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in programming/systems analysis, project management, and/or IT strategy planning or other related area
- Masters Degree in Geography, GIS or Business Administration or equivalent experience (Desired)
- Leadership experience (Desired)
- IT-Information Technology Utility industry experience (Desired)
- PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification (Desired)
- Familiarity with PG&E’s Elevate and Propel programs (Desired)
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro, Schneider Electric’s ArcFM and SAP (Desired)
- Telecommunications Domain knowledge (Desired)
- Hydro Power Domain knowledge (Desired)
- Experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and linear referencing is a plus (Desired)
