About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure implementation and control of the company's fixed asset management by reviewing and creating standards and control procedures
Ensure accounting close by performing, in the ERP system, the recording of acquisitions, disposals and transfers, and executing the monthly close for depreciation calculation
Ensure and control the calculation of impairment
Ensure correct accounting of assets by monitoring ongoing projects, calculating ICMS/PIS/COFINS on assets, supporting audits, and approving requests for investment (CAPEX)
Maintain the reliability of information through analysis of accounting accounts and asset control
Maintain compliance with company procedures by performing depreciation calculations and physical inventories, including tagging/labeling of new items and items without asset tags, and reconciling physical inventory with accounting records

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields
Minimum experience in accounting
Knowledge of ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of corporate accounting
Knowledge of 'Lucro Real' accounting/tax rules (Brazilian real profit tax regime)
Advanced English
