About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the release lifecycle (planning, coordination, monitoring and communication)
- Ensure consistency and reliability of transport processes across application environments (SAP and non‑SAP)
- Define and evolve release management standards in coordination with project and run teams
- Deploy and administer ALM tools (SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, Git, etc.)
- Prepare and manage cutover phases (scheduling, coordination, risk management and communication)
- Produce and maintain documentation (release roadmaps, checklists, quality reporting, best-practice guides)
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 to 8 years' experience in Release Management and/or application transport management
- Master's degree or equivalent (engineering school, university, or comparable qualification)
- Initial experience in consulting or client-facing advisory roles
- Proficiency with SAP ALM and DevOps tools (Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Git, Jenkins, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SAP and/or complex application environments
- Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- ITIL, DevOps or SAP certifications (a plus)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Appetite for continuous improvement and the industrialization of practices
