About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead two to four major client accounts
  • Develop and lead cross-functional marketing strategies and roadmaps aligned with client priorities
  • Drive strategic business impact, create a world-class client experience, and steer mid-to-long-term account growth
  • Provide regular and timely messaging on overall account health to senior internal and external partners
  • Own overall performance KPIs, remove barriers, and drive forward momentum
  • Lead, drive, retain, and grow client relationships and account performance
  • Establish trust and credibility and serve as an expert on clients’ businesses, digital media, measurement, and business models
  • Own relationship strategy and build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Coach account teams, account managers, and future account directors
  • Structure workstreams, allocate team resources, provide role clarity, and align subject matter expertise
  • Foster open communication and candid 360-degree feedback
  • Inspire account teams and direct reports to achieve quarterly, annual, and long-term goals
  • Inform staffing strategy and help recruit, onboard, and develop new team members and leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience directly responsible for leading cross-functional business strategies through clear communication, structured problem solving, and project management ownership
  • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Strong ability to solve analytical, conceptual, and big-picture problems using sound critical thinking techniques
  • Experience building, leading, and developing teams with diverse team members from a range of backgrounds
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of how digital can drive an enterprise business forward
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Preferred: Previous experience operating hands-on digital marketing strategies and execution to drive business impact
  • Preferred: Digital strategy consulting experience
  • Preferred: Media planning and buying experience
  • Preferred: Experience across both branding and direct response initiatives
