About the role
- Own day-to-day inventory reconciliation processes to ensure ERP balances match physical inventory across multiple sites.
- Execute and validate daily inventory transactions (production, receipts, shipments, adjustments) accurately and on schedule.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, identifying root causes and driving process or system improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Accounting and Logistics to maintain accurate and timely data flow.
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of ERP (Microsoft D365 preferred) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Analyze supply chain data to identify unique trends and advise on opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and flow.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory and cycle counts across network locations.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to optimize processes, streamline communication, and enhance traceability.
- Contribute to the company’s sustainability and operational excellence goals through disciplined inventory and materials management.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or Operations, preferably within CPG or Food & Beverage environments.
- Strong experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred) and related supply chain execution tools (e.g., WMS, TMS).
- Preferred candidate will be located within a 3–4 hour driving distance of Springfield, Missouri.
- Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis; experience with Power BI or similar tools a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High degree of curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to evolving business processes, and thrive in a dynamic environment aligned with a growth-minded culture.
- Ability to travel up to 20–30% to company facilities, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional meetings.
