About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement and manage Cloud environments primarily using AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, security and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, promoting automation, standardization and governance of environments.
- Administer and evolve Kubernetes platforms (EKS and/or on-premises), managing clusters, networking, scalability and high availability.
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker, Kubernetes and Amazon ECS.
- Build GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD, Helm, Operators and Git, automating deployment and application management processes.
- Structure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous, secure and standardized deliveries.
- Drive the evolution of DevSecOps practices, integrating security analysis tools such as Veracode into the development lifecycle.
- Deploy and manage observability, monitoring and telemetry solutions for applications and infrastructure, ensuring operational visibility and reducing incident response time.
- Develop and evolve internal Platform Engineering solutions (Internal Developer Platform) using tools like Backstage and Crossplane.
- Promote initiatives for continuous improvement of the Developer Experience (DevEx), reducing operational complexity and increasing development teams' autonomy.
- Automate operational processes using Python, Shell Script and YAML configuration files.
- Support architectures based on microservices, APIs and containerized workloads.
- Produce technical documentation, standards, templates and best practices for infrastructure and automation.
- Serve as a technical reference for Engineering, Development and Operations teams, sharing knowledge and supporting architectural decisions.
- Participate in defining technology standards, Cloud governance, security and continuous platform evolution.
