About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute monitoring, detection, investigation and response activities for cybersecurity incidents, operating tools such as SIEM, XDR, DLP, SWG, PAM and other protection solutions; perform rule tuning, alert triage and execution of response playbooks.
Manage technical aspects of cyber resilience, including environment hardening, cryptographic key management, data protection, network security, forensic investigations, root cause analysis, Purple Team exercises and implementation of improvements to detection and response processes.
Perform Offensive Security activities, managing vulnerabilities, supporting or conducting penetration tests, Red Team exercises and technical assessments of applications, infrastructure, cloud environments and endpoints, and tracking remediation plans with the responsible areas.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
Experience: Strong experience in Information Security, with work in: Security Operations Center (SOC); Incident Response; Vulnerability Management; Offensive Security (Pentest/Red Team); operation of corporate security tools.
Technical Knowledge: Operation of security solutions such as SIEM; XDR; DLP; SWG; PAM; vulnerability management tools.
Knowledge in: incident response; cryptography and key management; hardening of operating systems, databases and containers; network security; data protection in transit, at rest and in use; penetration testing and Offensive Security methodologies; forensic analysis and incident investigation.
Desired Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), and vendor certifications related to solutions used in the environment (Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, CyberArk, Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, among others).
