About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and evolve APIs, microservices, and backend applications using .NET (C#), ensuring solution quality, scalability, and high availability.
Implement business rules with a focus on performance, security, maintainability, and development best practices.
Create automated tests using frameworks such as xUnit and BDD (Behavior Driven Development) approaches with Reqnroll.
Design, model, and integrate with relational databases, especially SQL Server, ensuring query efficiency and data integrity.
Develop integrations with internal and external systems via REST APIs, database access, queues, and messaging topics.
Work in hybrid environments, contributing to solutions hosted on on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms such as AWS and OCI.
Identify, analyze, and fix defects and bugs, proposing continuous improvements to code, architecture, and development processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Front-end, Architecture, Product, and other areas involved in the development lifecycle.
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions, contributing to the dissemination of software engineering best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in backend development using .NET.
Proficiency in C#.
Experience with relational databases and SQL Server.
Knowledge of developing and consuming REST APIs.
Experience with automated testing using xUnit.
Familiarity with software quality practices and methodologies, including BDD (Reqnroll).
Knowledge of integrations via APIs, databases, queues, and topics.
Experience with on-premises environments and/or cloud computing.
Availability to work on-site 3x/week at Av. Paulista.
**Differentials**
Knowledge or experience with VB.NET.
Experience with AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
