About the role

  • Develop and maintain **data pipelines** using **Dataflow, Composer and BigQuery**.
  • Structure and organize data within a **Data Lake architecture** based on the **medallion model (Bronze, Silver, Gold)**.
  • Implement and manage **data catalog and governance** solutions with **DataPlex**.
  • Create and optimize queries in **BigQuery and SQL Server**.
  • Collaborate with architects and data teams to define standards, automations, and best practices.
  • Ensure observability, security, and data quality across integrations and data loads.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**, including:
  • **BigQuery**
  • **Composer**
  • **Dataflow**
  • **DataPlex**
  • **Data Lake**
  • **Dataform**
  • Proficiency in **SQL (SQL Server, BigQuery SQL)** and **analytical data modeling**.
  • Experience with the **medallion architecture** and **ETL/ELT** processes.
  • Knowledge of **Python** for automation and pipeline orchestration.
  • Familiarity with code versioning (**Git**) and **CI/CD** practices.
  • Knowledge of the **AWS ecosystem** (Glue, Redshift and multicloud integration services).
  • Experience with **Infrastructure as Code** (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience working in **DevSecOps** and **DataOps** environments.
  • Involvement in **migration or cross-cloud integration** projects.
