Graphic Design Intern
Our National Conversation (ONC)Graphic Design Intern contributing to ONC’s mission by creating engaging content for a nonpartisan media outlet. Collaborating remotely to design advertisements and other media materials.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with various departments to create creative and informative content that engages members of our Community
- Create advertisements, with headlines from the creative writing team, for potential sponsors of our organization
- Create designs including, but not limited to book covers, infographics, logos, fliers, graphics for video projects, etc.
- Communicate with the CEO, COO, and Director of Marketing professionally about designs, necessary layouts and content, timelines and ideas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Interest in Graphic Design or working towards a degree in Graphic Design and/or related fields
- Knowledge of basic editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva etc. required
- Responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even during conflict
- Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule in order to make deadlines
- Ability to attend weekly Tuesday Media team meetings
- Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
