About the role
- Request quotes and conduct price negotiations
- Actively contribute to the drafting of framework, purchase, factory and subcontractor agreements
- Establish new supplier contacts and maintain existing partnerships
- Identify potential contracting partners and monitor relevant procurement markets
- Handle complete order processing and ensure timely material supply to construction sites
- Continuously optimize procurement processes through expertise in materials management
- Find quick, pragmatic solutions in cases of non-performance, delays or defective deliveries
Requirements
- Commercial training or a degree in business administration with several years of professional experience in the building services (TGA) sector (ideally in technical purchasing or sales)
- Alternatively: Technical vocational qualification in plumbing/HVAC (SHK) or electrical engineering with a strong affinity for commercial purchasing topics
- Knowledge of project-based business and a pronounced technical understanding for communication with project managers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Up-to-date knowledge of contract law (including VOB/B)
- Structured, solution-oriented working style even under high workloads
- Strong negotiation skills
- An established network of suppliers and subcontractors in the region is an advantage
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics NAV/Navision) and MS Office
- Willingness to travel and a valid driving licence class B
