About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports the organization’s HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management
  • Leads full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Oversees employee onboarding, orientation, and training processes

  • Acts as back-up support for payroll administration when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CHRP designation is required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in human resources or employee relations
  • Experience working within a unionized environment
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
