About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify clients' needs and recommend additions to their existing coverage
  • Schedule client contacts and follow-ups
  • Present new products and services
  • Generate quotes and promote personal insurance products
  • Sell products by contacting prospective clients and building relationships with them
  • Respond to calls and other communications
  • Follow up on policies nearing renewal
  • Generate new quotes for prospects from previous years
  • Communicate with potential clients
  • Create a climate of trust that fosters new sales opportunities
  • Contribute, both as part of the team and individually, to continuous business improvement
  • Respond responsibly to customer inquiries
  • Process account changes accurately
  • Maintain complete client records

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • AMF certification
  • At least three years of experience, preferably in auto and personal property insurance
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client issues in a pleasant and positive manner
  • Superior time-management skills and a high level of organization to manage competing priorities
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Epic, Salesforce, and corporate portals
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (this role regularly communicates with English-speaking policyholders in Quebec and must be able to advise them appropriately on insurance products)
  • Certification from another province is an asset
