Personal Lines Insurance Broker – Sales/Service

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify clients' needs and recommend additions to their existing coverage
- Schedule client contacts and follow-ups
- Present new products and services
- Generate quotes and promote personal insurance products
- Sell products by contacting prospective clients and building relationships with them
- Respond to calls and other communications
- Follow up on policies nearing renewal
- Generate new quotes for prospects from previous years
- Communicate with potential clients
- Create a climate of trust that fosters new sales opportunities
- Contribute, both as part of the team and individually, to continuous business improvement
- Respond responsibly to customer inquiries
- Process account changes accurately
- Maintain complete client records
Requirements
What you’ll need- AMF certification
- At least three years of experience, preferably in auto and personal property insurance
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle client issues in a pleasant and positive manner
- Superior time-management skills and a high level of organization to manage competing priorities
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Epic, Salesforce, and corporate portals
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (this role regularly communicates with English-speaking policyholders in Quebec and must be able to advise them appropriately on insurance products)
- Certification from another province is an asset
