About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist physical and hand therapists with patient treatment activities
Guide patients through therapist-assigned exercises under direct supervision
Prepare, clean, and maintain equipment and treatment areas
Sanitize shared surfaces and patient care spaces
Support clinical staff with permitted duties under therapist supervision
Perform clerical tasks including answering phones, filing, and stocking supplies
Complete laundry and linen restocking
Follow clinic policies and safety procedures
Conduct personal training and return-to-sport assessments
Develop and implement individualized training programs
Instruct clients on proper exercise technique and safety
Monitor and document client progress in Epic
Communicate with therapists and physicians to align care plans
Lead individual and small group training sessions
Maintain a clean and safe training environment
Support client retention and growth of sports performance services

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Current Personal Training certification (CSCS, NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, AFAA, NATA, NESTA, NCSF)
Current CPR/AED certification
Strong communication and customer service skills
1+ year of personal training experience or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred)
Experience in a clinical, rehabilitation, or sports performance setting (preferred)
