Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical building services activities across multiple projects
Manage the delivery of M&E packages from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
Maintain strong program control and monitor project progress against key milestones
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants
Carry out site inspections and oversee installation quality, safety, and compliance standards
Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery
Identify and resolve technical, coordination, and program-related issues
Support procurement activities, contractor management, and commercial reporting where required
Contribute leadership, technical expertise, and mentoring support within the wider project team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
Strong background in mechanical and electrical building services
Proven experience delivering M&E-led projects within commercial, residential, healthcare, or similar sectors
Significant on-site experience with strong knowledge of construction and installation processes
Experience managing project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and multidisciplinary teams
Chartered Engineer status or progression toward chartership (Desirable)
PMP or similar qualification (Desirable)
Experience delivering large-scale or technically complex developments (Desirable)
Familiarity with BIM coordination and digital project delivery tools (Desirable)
Leadership or commercial management experience (Desirable)
Experience working in live operational environments (Desirable)
