Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Forestry Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Agronomy, or related Environmental Sciences fields.
Postgraduate or specialization (preferred): Botany; Environmental Management; Restoration of Degraded Areas (RAD); Nature Conservation; Applied Ecology, or related areas.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in vegetation studies and 6 years in senior technical roles and leadership in complex environmental projects.
Advanced botanical identification of native and exotic species across major Brazilian biomes.
Preparation, review, and technical sign-off of environmental studies and documents related to vegetation.
Proficiency with geoprocessing tools and spatial analyses applied to vegetation, using ArcGIS and/or QGIS.
Assessment of environmental impacts on flora and definition of mitigation, compensatory and vegetation management measures.
