About the role

  • Execute manual and automated test cases, including writing simple automated test scripts with support.
  • Actively engage in test planning activities.
  • Use bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) to report and track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Understand and perform different types of testing, including system, end-to-end, UI, API, functional, and non-functional testing.

Requirements

  • Foundational programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java or C# for writing simple test scripts.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Understanding of basic test planning and documentation.
  • Collaboration skills to work with developers on identifying and resolving defects.
  • Fundamentals of Databases and SQL.
