About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult on SEO, GEO, and CRO strategy for up to six great brands
- Convincingly take the lead on organic strategy as a credible, trusted expert
- Act as a peer advisor, partner, and friend in these relationships
- Design holistic content strategies that achieve specific, business-relevant goals
- Curate buy-in around your plans with in-house specialists, executives, and investors
- Prove results using data, leveraging tools like GA4, GrowthBook, and Google Sheets automations
- Thoughtfully guide your team's activities, including specialists in content, code, and analytics
- Collaborate with other Strategists through a common, centralized process
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience with SEO and conversion topics
- Account-facing relationship management
- Technical SEO: audits, site architecture, experiments, etc.
- Creative SEO: keywords, content strategy, linkbait, etc.
- Conversion Optimization: varied testing, analytics wizardry, etc.
- Openness and curiosity around AI while maintaining critical thinking
- Possess (or acquire) Google Analytics 4 certification
- Organized, meets deadlines, leads others to do the same
- Communicate complex ideas simply and kindly
- Write at a professional level that stays in alignment with the AP Style Guide
- Mastery of tools like Google Workspace, Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Tag Manager
