- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and contractors.
- Promote Orbit products and drive sales growth.
- Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads.
- Conduct product training and demonstrations for stakeholders.

Requirements
- Distributor and Contractor Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the designated territory.
- Responsible for achieving sales, profit, and growth goals for all Orbit products with the assigned territory.
- Maintain desirable mix and margins at distribution through assigned territory.
- Ensure sales are profitable and meet or exceed expectations and requirements as set by management.
- Sales Development: Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Identify, evaluate, and select distributor partners within the assigned territory.
- Develop and build direct relationships with Electrical distributors, contractors, MRO, and other users of Orbit’s products.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our electrical products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
- Provide product training for distributors and contractors.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our unique labor-saving products and the breadth of the Orbit line to distributors and contractors.
- Recommend appropriate solutions to contractors, end-users, and specifiers.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and weekly itineraries and call reports.
- Submit expense reports in a timely manner.
- Timely follow-up and compliance with all requests from management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, inside sales and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
