About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Delivering on our current FY27 marketing strategy and jumping straight into the development and delivery of our FY28 strategy.
  • Managing and mentoring four direct reports (Strategic Marketing Lead, Brand & Communications Manager, Digital Marketing Campaign Specialist, and Media & Content Manager), helping prioritise their work and fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Supporting and developing tactical execution strategies for a broad range of initiatives, audiences, and programs.
  • Functioning as a high-volume internal service department, taking marketing and communications requests from inception to delivery.
  • Gathering and synthesising data to measure campaign effectiveness, report on outcomes, and provide smart recommendations to adapt our approach.
  • Overseeing all marketing, communications, and product projects to ensure they are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborating closely with a diverse mix of internal and external partners to achieve our marketing targets.
  • Being ready and willing to take a detailed, hands-on approach whenever it's needed to support the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, including at least 5 years of experience directly managing people.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification to back up your years in the field.
  • Excellent knowledge across the entire marketing and communications suite—from brand management and digital/performance to media relations, content strategy, and website management.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and mediation skills that allow you to connect with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into improved audience experiences.
  • Outstanding planning and organisational skills, meaning you can easily prioritise, delegate, and manage budgets effectively.
