About the role

  • Develop and maintain applications using Ruby, primarily with Ruby on Rails
  • Create and consume RESTful APIs
  • Work on bug fixes, performance improvements, and code refactoring
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  • Implement and maintain automated tests (unit and integration)
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, UX)
  • Support deployment activities and troubleshooting in staging and production environments

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Ruby
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Knowledge of REST APIs
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar)
  • Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
  • Experience with automated testing (RSpec, Minitest or similar)
  • Familiarity with development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code)
