About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare, process and balance payroll
Administer source deductions, including employee benefits programs
Manage year-end payroll processes
Open, update and manage employee files
Prepare payroll-related reports and documents
Record, analyze, reconcile and complete accounting entries
Manage occupational health & safety (OHS) and WSIB files
Respond to employee payroll inquiries
Perform various analyses and provide support to the Human Resources department

Requirements

What you’ll need

DEC (Diploma of College Studies) or certificate in accounting or a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
Hold ACP accreditation
Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management
Experience with various payroll systems: Ceridian, Dayforce, Nethris is an asset
Excellent proficiency in French and English – spoken and written
