About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze performance and costs
  • Monitor manufacturing performance indicators and analyze cost trends
  • Identify productivity improvement and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Analyze variances related to standard costs (raw materials, labor, and overhead)
  • Act as a financial partner to operational teams
  • Support the calculation and updating of product costs and standard costs
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Analyze purchasing, transportation, and warehousing costs
  • Participate in the monthly financial close process
  • Contribute to budgets and financial forecasts for operations and the supply chain
  • Participate in improvements and enhancements of financial systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis
  • Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Advanced Excel skills: financial modeling, complex analyses, and data manipulation
  • Experience with an ERP (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent)
  • Ability to work closely with operational teams
  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to prioritize, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CMA designation — OR 5+ years of relevant experience in cost analysis/product costing
  • 5–8 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or cost accounting
  • Bilingual in French and English required
