About the role
- Design, operation and further development of Linux servers (on-premises & cloud)
- Monitoring of performance, stability and security
- Troubleshooting as well as patch and update management
- Participation in projects on virtualization, automation, containerization and cloud setups
- Automation of recurring tasks (Bash; Python optional)
- Support for logistics and e-commerce systems
- Documentation and continuous optimization of the infrastructure
- Active knowledge sharing within the team
- Long-term perspective: development towards a project or IT lead role
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent practical experience
- Solid knowledge of Linux administration (Oracle Linux, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
- German language skills B2–C1
- Initial experience with scripting (Bash, Python) (nice-to-haves)
- Team-oriented, self-motivated and curious
