Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across print and digital media
- Deep understanding of design principles including layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to apply them effectively across various formats
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills, with a demonstrated awareness of current design trends, emerging tools, and visual storytelling techniques
- Solid knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and familiarity with mailing specifications and vendor coordination
- Proficient in photo editing, image retouching and optimizing assets for web and print use
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to coordinate creative workflows preferred
- Familiarity with integrating AI tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, or similar) into the design process to enhance efficiency and innovation preferred
- Highly motivated and collaborative, with a positive attitude and openness to constructive feedback
- Flexible with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong ability to take initiative, think creatively, problem solve, and demonstrate sound judgement
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective rapport with all levels of management, staff, and public
