About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help automate how a federal agency handles a high-volume stream of filer applications
- Turn a manual, document-heavy process into an intelligent pipeline using OCR and AI
- Build document-intelligence services that pull structure and meaning out of filings
- Create validation and review processes including exact and fuzzy matching
- Develop new capabilities, tools, and lines of business
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust determination
- Deep, hands-on Python experience
- Real experience building document-processing systems in the cloud (Amazon Textract or equivalents)
- Engineering around data validation, matching, APIs, and SQL
- Judgment to build in a regulated environment where accuracy and auditability are not optional.
