About the role
- You will own the finance operations processes (including equity issuance) that we use to launch and support 2 companies per month currently, and 100+ companies per month in the future. You will use AI to build scalable systems and to automate repetitive financial workflows.
- You will design and implement portfolio company KPI reporting, establishing standardized metrics and dashboards that scale across dozens of companies.
- You will support financial modeling exercises, market research, analytics, etc. for fundraising and other strategic initiatives.
- You will manage relationships with external partners (accounting and tax firms, fund admin team, legal team, etc.) and direct them on day to day and special projects.
- You will be the finance and compliance operations lead for OCV funds, owning capital call management, legal entity management, LP onboarding processes, quarterly reporting, and investor relations workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in finance operations, fund administration, venture capital operations, or startup finance, with demonstrated experience scaling processes.
- Strong understanding of venture fund mechanics including capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, LP reporting requirements, CapTable scenario modeling.
- Solid foundation in accounting and corporate finance - ability to analyze company financial statements.
- Experience designing financial and KPI tracking dashboards; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating investor-facing materials and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance.
