About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as field management for the test team, plant contacts, and regulatory contacts
  • Follow established testing methods, procedures, and processes to support consistent and reliable source testing
  • Manage project resource logistics with the logistics manager and office managers before field tests
  • Manage onsite schedules and coordinate with client plant contacts and regulatory contacts regarding scope changes
  • Manage daily field operational and safety aspects of site-specific stack programs
  • Conduct data review and field quality control
  • Staff field test teams appropriately and lead, train, and mentor field personnel
  • Perform work in outdoor industrial settings, including climbing and working on elevated platforms
  • Travel locally and overnight for multi-weekday projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2+ years of source testing experience
  • Capacity for overnight and local travel for multi-weekday projects up to 75% of the time or more
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend travel or work
  • Ability to work outdoors in industrial settings and climb/work on elevated platforms from 50ft to 300ft in accordance with OSHA/ANSI and other applicable safety standards
  • Ability to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, rainy, windy, and sunlit conditions
  • QSTI Credentials a plus
  • Transferable experience in labor, construction, industrial maintenance, mechanical, laboratory, environmental, or field science is applicable
