About the role
- Research and resolve customer tax out-of-balances in a timely manner
- Processes various mathematical calculations to determine how the data will conclude the best solutions
- Analysis of tax/payroll data on the employer and employee level of inspecting
- Transforming the goal of discovery, suggesting conclusions and supporting decision-making
- Ensures that the appropriate action taken, complies with the tax authority requirement
- Responsible for communicating to customers and document the cause of the tax discrepancy.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of related Payroll and/or tax experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax rules and requirements
- Use internal data analytics to research and resolve tax discrepancies
- Ability to respond quickly, independently, and make sound decisions
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Preferred Associates degree or higher preferred (or 3-years’ experience equivalent)
- Payroll outsourcing and/or Shared Services experience preferred.
