About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly investment management documentation
  • Conduct regular fee analysis and benchmarking to ensure optimized plan performance
  • Develop comprehensive plan review meeting materials to facilitate client communication
  • Manage key dates and events for clients and advisors, including fund changes, notices, 5500 filings, and compliance deadlines
  • Lead the process of plan amendments and recordkeeper fund changes
  • Review and approve retirement plan invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain and update fee and service agreements for plan sponsors
  • Manage new business and lost business processes, ensuring accurate submission and monitoring
  • Provide general support to advisors and clients, addressing inquiries and resolving administrative issues
  • Compile fund line-up proposals for clients, considering investment options and fees
  • Oversee communication related to fund or plan changes, keeping clients and advisors informed
  • Schedule and follow up on client meetings to ensure effective communication and relationship management
  • Coordinate RFP due diligence research to support new business initiatives
  • Plan and schedule participant education sessions, including enrollment meetings
  • Conduct research and develop communication materials to promote participant education initiatives
  • Manage reminders to clients regarding fiduciary and financial academy opportunities
  • Oversee the review and update of Salesforce data related to plan design, contacts, and marketing distribution
  • Manage and maintain personal and team productivity in Salesforce
  • Support the implementation of Workplace to Wealth strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices in the retirement plan industry
  • Demonstrated capacity to build and document processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to client service and business development
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
  • Continual learner mentality, able to adopt new solutions and help respond to the impact of new systems
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive client information, including personnel and financial data
  • Business travel up to 25%
