About the role
- Lead requirements gathering through advisor interviews, process analysis, and data insights
- Manage demanding stakeholders with empathy and clarity, balancing competing priorities while maintaining strategic focus
- Drive roadmap planning and backlog prioritization using KPIs, user feedback, and business impact
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, setting clear expectations and providing transparency throughout the product lifecycle
- Owns product backlog and feature prioritization
- Define and prioritize user stories, manage the product backlog, and lead agile ceremonies as needed
- Assist with communicating the vision and roadmap during PI Planning to ensure teams are aligned and ready to execute against them
- Conduct discovery through interviews, data analysis, and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist in meeting coordination, notes, documentation, follow-ups, summaries, and action items to provide clear ownership and accountability
- Collaborate as needed with development, finance, compliance, operations, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Enforce data integrity and platform security standards
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Define CRM product needs and ensure value of delivery
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are incorporated into the product development process
- Prepare mockups and document product standards, both internal for the team as well as stakeholders; work with the Salesforce Product Manager; Operations teams and the business stakeholders on training materials, release notes, and related communications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management or product ownership or related roles
- Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud; experience with Experience Cloud is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Experience supporting Agile teams working with tools such as Azure DevOps
- Experience supporting enterprise scale platform or process transformation initiatives
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with Dynamics 365 and Salesforce business processes preferred
- Experience working in Insurance, Finance Services, PEO, Human Resources industry is a plus
- Technical knowledge of Data Mapping, API Integration and Web Technologies a plus
- SAFe or Agile related certification is a plus
