About the role
- Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs
- Develop and deploy production-grade data engineering code, ensuring reliability and performance across environments
- Manage end-to-end data workflows, including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and validation for multiple business systems
- Lead daily execution and prioritization, breaking down tasks, assigning work, and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with BI analysts, technology teams, and business stakeholders to design solutions that align with strategic goals
- Monitor and optimize data infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability, leveraging automation where possible
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineer, or related roles in a cross-functional environment
- Proven leadership experience, including managing projects, teams, or technical initiatives
- Expertise in data pipeline architecture, optimization, and reliability for large-scale systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Redshift) and orchestration tools like Airflow
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques, ETL frameworks, and multiple data formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet)
