Product Compliance Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You take regulatory responsibility for our growing product portfolio.
- You ensure full compliance of all products and assess formulations, declarations, and packaging (LMIV / Food Information Regulation, Health Claims, Novel Food).
- You build scalable processes that enable fast yet safe product innovations and develop internal guidelines.
- You support innovations (e.g., ready-to-eat, soups) from ideation to launch, maintain product dossiers, and evaluate specific requirements for new categories.
- You critically review marketing claims and advertising statements to ensure we communicate boldly but in a legally sound manner.
- You act as the central contact person for authorities and external partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Affairs or Product Compliance (FMCG / Food).
- A completed degree (Food Law, Nutritional Science / Ökotrophology, or similar).
- Solid knowledge of the LMIV (Food Information Regulation) and the German Packaging Act (Verpackungsgesetz).
- Deep understanding of Health Claims and novel foods (Novel Food).
- You work proactively, in a structured way, and maintain an overview even on complex issues.
- You see yourself as an enabler of innovation and find ways to translate regulatory requirements into efficient, scalable processes.
- You communicate confidently in German (C1) and English (B2).
