About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and ensure agency delivery against client expectations
  • Manage client service expectations through open and honest agency-client discussions
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships through customized teams
  • Partner with Creative, Strategy, and Operations Leads to deliver innovative, on-strategy work within budget and timing parameters
  • Manage day-to-day senior clients
  • Ensure successful development and completion of client engagements
  • Maintain relationships across agency departments and communicate account strategic goals
  • Ensure high-quality agency delivery that meets client objectives and leads the category
  • Drive profitable growth by adding new divisions or assignments
  • Manage and mentor junior team members
  • Identify short- and long-term business-building opportunities
  • Develop yearly statements of work in collaboration with finance and department heads
  • Report on account performance
  • Identify practices that improve agency efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop initiatives through understanding of the client’s content area
  • Pursue opportunities contributing to agency and client revenue and profitability
  • Work with project management to ensure successful project execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of agency experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience
  • Pharmaceutical HCP/DTC experience required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized, creative problem-solving, and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective department relationships
  • Ability to interact with and manage clients with decision-making responsibility
  • Experience with budgets and financial acumen
  • Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into viable solutions
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
