About the role

  • OmniBazaar is a decentralized e-commerce marketplace and cryptocurrency platform (OmniCoin) focused on removing middlemen and expanding access to global commerce.
  • Seek technical co-founder to move project to next level, produce code and lead development until funding allows hiring a team.
  • Migrate OmniCoin to a smart-contract blockchain and add Web3 support (wallets, NFTs ERC-721/1155).
  • Implement transaction privacy, account abstraction, and write smart contracts to replace marketplace functionalities.
  • Add distributed exchange (DEX), P2P crypto trading, cross-chain bridging, staking, and liquidity pools.
  • Support Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) or Angel/VC funding and devise marketing to grow users from 10,000 to >1,000,000.
  • Develop Android and iOS mobile applications and relaunch the marketplace as a web3 app.
  • Work within DAO structure alongside five other co-founders; bootstrap environment and equity/token compensation.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated leader who is willing and able to help bootstrap a startup company.
  • Documented experience in Project Management, UI/UX development, and Quality Control.
  • REQUIRED: Expert knowledge of Solidity, blockchain, smart contracts, Web3, HardHat, OpenZeppelin, NodeJS, React, JavaScript.
  • DESIRED: Experience with Couchbase or other distributed database, DEXs, web3 wallets, crypto privacy protocols (ZKPs), account abstraction, cross-chain bridging, Aragon DAO platform.
  • Familiarity with IPFS, distributed computing, ERC-721 and ERC-1155, cryptocurrency design, tokenomics.
  • Willing and able to financially support yourself during bootstrap phase.
