Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using modern front-end and back-end frameworks.
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry and security best practices.
Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews to ensure development alignment with project goals.
Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers, cloud engineers, UI/UX designers, and technical leads to deliver secure and responsive user experiences.
Support integration with APIs, data models, and third-party services to enhance system capabilities.
Assist in test planning, unit testing, and deployment activities in Azure Government environments.
Document workflows, architecture, and code changes using tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to CI/CD pipelines, system performance, and application security.
Work collaboratively with multi-organizational teams including AFRL, AFWERX, MDA/DVR, REI Systems, ValidEval, Trenchant Analytics, Microsoft, and OpenAI on innovation-driven government software solutions.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required.
Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (relevant experience may substitute).
Proficiency in at least two of the following: C#, Node.js, React, TypeScript, Java, Python.
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with Git and modern SDLC tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jira).
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture.
Ability to work independently and effectively with distributed Agile teams.
