About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage healthcare products from design through deployment and implementation support
Contribute to building and maintaining modern cloud-native applications
Oversee execution and ensure delivery aligns with stakeholder goals
Lead Scrum Master/Manager teams, track progress, and resolve project challenges
Supervise delivery team performance and assign daily technical tasks
Ensure processes are followed and product vision is delivered on time
Manage risks, dependencies, and value across the project or product lifecycle
Maintain production technologies, including maintenance and installation
Develop project and product plans integrating customer requirements and company goals
Coordinate technical managers and personnel as required
Ensure required documentation is maintained for knowledge management
Define deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for project staff
Collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations teams
Execute large construction, refresh, and retrofit projects from planning through completion
Approve concept designs, deliver project schedules, and allocate resources
Manage, hire, mentor, train, and evaluate internal staff
Hire and manage contractors, architects, and engineers
Prepare budgets and maintain the master budget and schedule
Document project phases and prepare recurring status reports for senior management
Check project milestones

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of managerial experience
Deep functional knowledge of healthcare processes, especially Medicaid business
Understanding of cloud-native architecture and associated technologies
Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods
Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing technology talent
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience establishing guidelines for time management and organization
Strong personal accountability in decision-making and supervising department teams
Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and promoting teamwork
Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to predict challenges and proactively address obstacles
Exposure to enterprise architecture and development
Knowledge of NoSQL, microservices, and cloud technologies
Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
Prior hands-on development experience is a plus
