About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and requirements related to ServiceNow CMDB implementations and enhancements
  • Configure, manage, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery probes, credentials, and patterns to discover and classify assets
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by addressing anomalies and maintaining data integrity
  • Plan and manage the capacity and performance of ServiceNow MID servers
  • Establish and maintain discovery schedules, ensuring they align with IT infrastructure and business needs
  • Work closely with network engineers, application owners, and other IT teams to ensure accurate data and efficient processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discovery issues and failures
  • Create and maintain documentation for all discovery work done.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field
  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator Fundamentals and Data foundations
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow discovery principles and best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules (e.g., Change Management, Problem Management) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
