About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support ongoing operations in Los Alamos, NM
Work on several applications at once in a highly agile structure
Maintain the laboratory’s high security mandates
Resolve a wide range of IT issues in creative ways
Provide resolutions to complex problems requiring data analysis
Contribute to organizational goals and objectives
Determine solution approaches, plan schedules, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
Provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel
Perform test-driven development
Work according to customer site discretion for shift scheduling

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Satisfactory pre-employment screening, including drug and breath alcohol testing
Motor Vehicle Record check
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
Strong background in Java and the Spring framework
High-level knowledge of Angular and MySQL databases desired
Comfortable and willing to carry out test-driven development
Active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two years preferred
Previous DOE/NNSA work experience preferred
Java/Spring certifications preferred
MySQL database experience preferred
Experience with newer versions of Angular preferred
