About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead various stages of traffic and transportation analysis and design for data center developments across the United States.
- Analyze transportation data and roadway operations to assess site access, circulation, traffic impacts, and infrastructure needs.
- Prepare and review technical reports, exhibits, and recommendations that support project planning, permitting, and design efforts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and serve as a technical resource during project development, client coordination, and agency discussions.
- Apply sound engineering judgment, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while managing multiple project responsibilities and deliverables.
- Training and mentoring EIT staff on traffic engineering and project management principles.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- PTOE preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 4 years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
- Experience preparing traffic impact studies, transportation analyses, or traffic operations evaluations, and/or traffic design
- Self-motivation in project execution.
- Experience coordinating with public agencies.
- Working knowledge of traffic engineering principles, transportation planning concepts, and applicable design standards.
