About the role
- Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects including coordination with all disciplines involved on projects
- Plans and oversees the quality review process of project deliverables
- Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution
- Strengthens and further develops subject matter expertise in certain design areas
- Provides senior-level design review for various projects and acts as a resource for technical issues
- May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data
- Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work
- Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff
- May travel to job sites at different stages in construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Associate Degree in Drafting
- 10 years of CAD software experience (AutoCAD Civil 3d)
- Project Management skills for medium-sized projects
- Ability to travel for in-office activities, client and site visits as needed
