About the role
- Support large‑scale data center projects and utility interconnections.
- Build and validate PSCAD models that demonstrate reliable grid performance and meet utility requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams, utilities, and equipment manufacturers to evaluate system behavior during faults, voltage and frequency disturbances, and weak‑grid conditions.
- Support model reviews through commissioning.
- Contribute to complex, high‑impact projects while delivering practical solutions that support grid reliability and client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in power system studies with hands‑on PSCAD EMT modeling.
- Understanding of power‑electronics‑based loads (UPS, VFDs, converters) and grid interconnection requirements.
- Experience supporting utility or ISO reviews preferred.
- Strong technical writing and collaboration skills
- Must be a licensed Engineer
