Key responsibilities & impact

Support IT operations within local operational boundary
Conduct hardware/software compliance checks, certification reviews, and baseline enforcement
Perform workflow analysis and document test results
Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems and applications
Participate in deployment, upgrades, or enhancement projects
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system configurations
Provide expertise on system configuration and operational processes
Manage multiple tasks/projects and adjust work planning as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
Administering, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems
Managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Host-based firewalls
Endpoint compliance tools
Knowledge or experience with HBSS/ESS or similar platforms
Performing system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation activities
Supporting standalone and boundary-specific workstations
Knowledge of Cisco network hardware (preferred)
Experience with VMware virtual systems (preferred)
Vulnerability Management experience (preferred)
Experience creating and maintaining scripts (Powershell) (preferred)
Technical writing skills, including SOPs and documentation (preferred)
