About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end close activities
Posting journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll and depreciation
Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining supporting schedules
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Assisting with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting
Ensuring financial data is accurate, complete and up to date
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
Working closely with colleagues across finance to deliver high-quality reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or be nearing completion
Experience preparing management accounts
Strong month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience
Good understanding of financial controls and accounting principles
Strong Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
A proactive and organised approach
The ability to build positive working relationships across the business
Experience within a multi-entity environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
