About the role
- You will collaborate with the Product Manager Security and the CISO to develop and evolve the company-wide security architecture.
- You will translate security requirements into practical, robust solutions for engineering teams.
- You will contribute to the design of cross-functional target architectures, with a focus on IT4IT processes, ServiceNow, financial systems, and related areas.
- You will help ensure that support processes are efficient and aligned with security requirements.
- You will support DevSecOps teams in the areas of Observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), contributing to the establishment of common observability standards and capabilities based on a consolidated observability platform.
- You will evaluate technology trends (such as AI integration, open source, and new SaaS models) for their technical relevance, business value, and alignment with the existing platform landscape.
- You will assist in the integration of complex services into the existing system environment.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in IT architecture with a strong focus on IT security.
- Solid knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, IT4IT).
- Experience designing and evolving enterprise-wide security architectures.
- Proven ability to translate security requirements into practical and robust technical solutions.
- Experience defining and implementing cross-functional target architectures (e.g., IT4IT processes, ServiceNow, financial systems).
- Understanding of support and service processes, with a focus on efficiency and security.
- Practical experience in modern IT operations, including end-to-end observability of IT services.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices as well as Observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Experience establishing or contributing to observability standards and platforms.
- Familiarity with architecture and governance frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, or IT4IT.
- Experience working in agile environments and applying SAFe in large organizations.
- Ability to evaluate technology trends (e.g., AI integration, open source, SaaS models) for business value and platform fit.
- Experience integrating complex services into existing system landscapes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Very good German and English language skills.
