About the role
- Contribute to projects supporting Europe’s space-safety infrastructure
- Develop and code key algorithms and integrate data sources
- Prepare technical documentation and coordinate project deliverables
- Work closely with institutional partners and support proposal preparation
- Contribute to long-term programmes ensuring sustainable access to space
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Space Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related
- Experience in astrodynamics, SSA/SST, or flight dynamics through full-time work, internships, or research
- Basic understanding of orbital mechanics and astrodynamics
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code in Python, Java, FORTRAN, or a similar language
- Interest in satellite safety, conjunction assessment, or flight operations
- Experience with SST systems, orbit catalogs, or mission analysis (nice-to-have)
