About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance activities across the site
- Manage audits, certifications, supplier quality programs, and compliance systems
- Drive customer complaint resolution, risk assessments, and corrective and preventive actions
- Develop and enhance quality management and food safety systems
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and suppliers on quality-related matters
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Assurance team
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality-related projects
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Logistics, Commercial teams, customers, suppliers, and certification bodies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety within the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety risk management, auditing, compliance management, and supplier quality assurance
- Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, BRCGS, IFS, and FSSC 22000 standards
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
