About the role

  • Assisting with realizing the Army Software Directive by guiding development teams to align to modern software development practices through a combination of code/design reviews, as well as hands-on implementation.
  • Apply Lean, Agile, DevSecOps practices to improve software delivery speed, security and stability.
  • Work in a highly-collaborative, diverse, mission-focused team environment.
  • Opportunity to apply a variety of emerging technologies, languages, and frameworks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with popular languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, NodeJS, Django, and Spring.
  • 1+ years working experience on MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services.
  • 1+ years with front end framework such as React or Angular
  • 1+ years with code versioning tools, such as Git and build tools such as Maven.
  • 1+ years experience with database technology (relational or non-relational) such as MySQL, Mongo, or DynamoDB.
  • 1+ years of experience developing in an agile environment with automated CI/CD
  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of cloud and cloud technologies
  • Experience with containers
  • Experience in communicating and collaborating with team members
  • Clearance: Minimum of INTERIM SECRET
