About the role
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to procure goods and services with an optimal balance of cost, quality, and value.
- Administer complex and high-dollar formal solicitations, including developing specifications, evaluation criteria, and pricing matrices.
- Negotiate contract terms, monitor supplier performance, and manage risk in accordance with County policies and procedures.
- Maintain reports and contract information to support procurement strategies and contract portfolios.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred major in business administration, Supply Chain Management, public administration, or closely related field of study.
- At least six (6) years of full-time work experience in a purchasing department.
